I am a Rome girl too. I have been there, but that's another story. I took my husband for our silver wedding anniversary to seduce him and woo him and ..... well you get the picture. He was already off me and a little later he asked for a divorce. Not great memories of Rome for me, but it is a beautiful city, just not one I will be going to again, sob, sob, sob!!!!!!
Sorry to hear that, I hate how bad experiences distroy places forever.
